HOW THE BUSINESS BEGAN…
In 2003, Keith was the designer/curator of an exhibit celebrating the
Bicentennial of Port Gibson. She chose ten Mississippi artists of different
ethnic
backgrounds, working in different media, to create artwork based on some
aspect of Port
Gibson. The exhibit was shown in “The Bakery Building” which
had just been restored by Port Gibson Main Street. The idea of having
a gallery at 621 Market Street was born.
Keith’s Studio is upstairs, over the Bakery Building Gallery and
has become known as ART/621.
